Duties/Responsibilities:
- Installs new HVAC systems in residential or commercial buildings, including boilers, water heaters, baseboard heat, fan coils, radiant heat, heat pumps, ventilation systems, and refrigeration units.
- Installs ductwork and thermostats to control HVAC system.
- Performs routine maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure they operate safely and efficiently.
- Inspects and troubleshoots problems with existing HVAC units, including cleaning, adjusting, and repairing.
- Installs replacement parts on existing HVAC units.
- Communicates with customers about HVAC systems, collects payments, and updates Service Fusion.
- Verifies work to be performed and updates notes in Service Fusion, including attaching photos of system(s).
- Maintains truck cleanliness, and inventory of replacement parts.
HVAC technicians must be familiar with mechanical systems, electricity, tools of the trade, and all safety protocols. We are looking to hire individuals who are effective communicators and lifelong learners.
Requirements:
- HVAC license plus 2+ years of hands-on field experience.
- Customer facing communication skills.
- Technicians must have a clean driving record (minor infractions will be considered).
- Technicians must pass a pre-employment criminal background check.
