We are searching for a Sales Consultant for Home Care Services in the greater Wallingford, CT and New Haven area.

Our award-winning office is looking for a highly motivated brand ambassador to support our rapid growth and culture of compassionate home care in the community.

This client and business facing position (90% field; 10% office), is responsible for responding to leads for home care services, and for developing referral sources of new business. This includes meeting with new clients, assessing needs, and documenting the plan of care.

Highlights of Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain relationship with home care referral sources including local healthcare providers, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, physicians’ offices, assisted living communities and clinics.
  • Attend and promote home care services at business-to-business events including chamber of commerce functions, networking opportunities, business after-hours, lunch-and-learns and other B2B marketing events.
  • Conduct presentations to community groups and healthcare professionals to network home care services.
  • Establish and maintain referral relationships and provide the highest level of professional customer service.
  • Respond immediately to all leads by scheduling appointments for in home assessments with clients.
  • Conduct in home client assessments and create agreement of care plan with clients/families.
  • Document activity in ClearCare CRM in addition to completing regular activity reporting.
  • Work collaboratively with internal team to support home care programs and services.
Position Requirements
  • Demonstrated ability to develop leads for referrals and the ability to secure the business (close the sale).
  • Knowledge of terminology related to the senior population and rehabilitative care including activities of daily living (ADLs).
  • 1 year of Sales experience preferably in the health care field, assisted living or home care services a plus!
  • Professional communication skills to present services to the business community and client families.
  • Organizational skills and a high sense of urgency to react quickly and efficiently to home care leads.
  • Computer skills to document activities in CRM and communicate through email and internet.
  • Meet or exceed established sales targets and monitor growth through tracking marketing success.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, managing a diverse schedule of activities and responsibilities.
Work Schedule & Total Rewards
  • Full Time Monday – Friday with some after-hours marketing events
  • Base salary $55,000-$60,000 plus commission.
  • Use of company car during business hours.
  • Paid time off: Holidays, Sick Time, Vacation
  • 401K after 1 year
